Support BrokerageNorthern Independent Living provides an independent support brokerage which helps to organise and put in place personal assistance services by developing individual support plans for disabled people within the guidelines of the National Brokerage Network. Specialising in individual budgets and direct payments, we will help clients to put together a tailor-made package based on their individual needs and resources.
The brokerage service:
• Provides help and advice in understanding the implications of individual budgets and direct payments
• Develops, manages and regularly reviews cost-effective, workable support plans
• Provides information, advice and support in selecting appropriate services from agencies and community resources
• Develops understanding and cooperation between agencies, including social and health care providers, mortgage dealers, housing associations, and voluntary organisations
